About Emily

Hello, I'm Emily Moran, a deeply devoted Mama and Wife, and your teacher here at Rest in your Wild.

I guide overwhelmed, tender-hearted women from emotional armour into sacred softness — where their nervous system settles, their heart opens, and their inner wisdom begins to lead.

I have completed and been initiated into many teachings, methods and practices since my educational pursuits began in 2009, and my work reflects in a small part the foundation of this knowledge, but in a much larger part it provides you with the wisdom of my lived experiences in applying it and embodying it as a student, guide and teacher myself.

My approach is gentle, intuitive, deeply feminine, bold and heart-centred. I focus on healing as a return to wholeness and not as an end result to be achieved. I teach soulful practices like journaling, ceremonies, daily rituals, guided meditations to help you hear God's guidance, prayer and other modalities that help you to discover the root cause of your healing in mind, body and soul.

I strongly believe in your ability to heal and overcome anything you feel is holding you back. My courses are not here to make it so that you are reliant on me for these things but instead they aim to have you tapping into your own ability to discern what is right for you, to have you confidently walking away with the knowing and remembering that God gave you everything you need in this lifetime.

My work easily speaks to women who have been people-pleasers, the black sheep of their family, scapegoats, over-givers, lovers of God and/or Christ, those navigating life's initiations like motherhood, and those who have sought validation and love from their external world for far too long.

My mission with Rest in your Wild is to continue courageously walking the path laid before me as a student and teacher one step at a time; gathering knowledge, wisdom and experiences, embodying and living these sacred teachings and sharing the fruits of my trials and efforts with you through this online school.

Some of my favourite things are being with my family, cooking plant foods, knitting and crocheting, hiking, a nice warm beverage in a handcrafted mug, finding snails under leaves and frogs in ponds, homebirthing babies and spending endless time with my wonderful husband and son.

Thank you for being here with me, your presence makes this online gathering truly charming and cherished for both myself and our ever-growing community of students worldwide.

I invite you to learn, heal, and awaken with me through my signature course and other available resources.

Rest in your Wild

There comes a moment when the striving no longer fits.

When the noise of who you were taught to be grows louder than the quiet truth within you.

When you realize how much of your life has been shaped by expectation, performance, and the ache to be enough.

And somewhere beneath it all… your soul is still there.
Unhardened. God-breathed. Waiting.

Rest in Your Wild was born from the knowing that God never asked you to become someone else... God formed you with intention, with breath, with a life that was already whole.

Humanity was created from the earth and filled with the breath of God... alive, connected, and deeply rooted in Him from the very beginning.

That original design still lives within you.

The world may have taught you to strive, to please, to search outside yourself for clarity and worth.

But God’s invitation has always been simpler and softer: Come rest, not as something to earn... but something to receive.

This is the heart of this space.

The “wild” is not something to tame or fear. It is the sacred life within you. The part untouched by pressure, still rooted in truth, still connected to God.

It is the place where your soul remembers.

Throughout history, God has met His people numerous times in wild places not to abandon them, but to restore them. The wilderness is holy ground. A place of return. A place of intimacy.

Here, you are invited into that same return.

To lay down your striving.
To soften out of survival.
To remember who you were before the world asked you to perform as someone else.

Rest in Your Wild is a return to the life God placed within you.

A return to your soul.

You do not have to become more to be loved.
You are simply being invited to come home.
